方座浦浅間祭

浅間祭は富士信仰に由来し、地元の山を富士山に見立ててお参りするもので、南伊勢町の各集落では200年以上前から、夏至である６月にこの祭りが行われている。
方座浦の浅間祭は、唯一、町の文化財に指定されており、町内に数ある浅間祭の中でも最も大きな規模を誇る。
２日間にわたって行われるが、宵宮では花火が打ち上げられ、本日では大幣・小幣を伴い、村中を練り歩いた後に浅間山へと向かう。クライマックスの、急峻な岩場を一気に駆け登るシーンは、物凄くかっこいいです。
